The Maze Runner is a science fiction film by James Dashner novel. The film tells the story of a virus and an organization called WICKED that gets greedy by creating and experimenting on a collection of humans placed in a labyrinth.

Humans who are immune to the virus will then be taken of their blood and used as a healing serum for those infected and want to create a new world. But the intention which, according to WICKED, is that good intentions end with exploiters for those who are immune to viruses including Thomas, Minho and others.

Thomas then led those who wanted to stop WICKED’s evil intentions, they made it out of the labyrinth but the story did not stop there. After his first movie The Maze Runner and his second film The Maze Runner: The Scorch Trial is quite interesting, now turn The Maze Runner: The Death Cure is quite stunning

There are scenes similar to the scene in the second film, The Scorch Trial. At The Scorch Trial, when Thomas and others had a dead end to escape from WICKED and crank, there would be Brenda and Jorge always coming to their rescue, just like in The Death Cure this, so for those who have watched The Scorch Trial as experienced de javu.

The action scene in The Death Cure is more and more cool than the scenes in the previous movie. If in the previous movie they run fast with the ever-changing labyrinth and being chased by griver (monster labyrinth) or caught by WICKED, now they are presenting a more stunning action.

At the beginning of the film, the audience was treated to scenes similar to the Fast and Furious movie when Vin Diesel and others hijacked the train. Although similar, their action is quite unexpected because they cut the train carriage and took it flying by plane.

The story of friendship between Thomas, Newt, Minho and Fry is rather dramatic which always ends with the death of a person. The long-lost love story between two lovebirds Thomas and Teresa also adorn this film. But this does not reduce the quality of the movie at all, they are able to combine it with a cool action.

That’s the review of The Maze Runner: Death Cure in my opinion, and better than the previous sequel
